NVIDIA continue their usual upgrades to their special NVIDIA Vulkan Beta driver with a fresh release out with version 470.62.02 now available to test.
Here's what's new:
- New:
- Fixes:
- Fixed issue with vertex shader interpolation qualifiers of unused input attributes
- Fixed issue with host-visible device local memory and capture/replay
- Fixed issue accessing individual components of barycentric inputs
Reminder: This special Vulkan beta driver is where all the shiny new stuff goes in before making its way into the stable release for everyone. Really, it's mostly aimed at developers and serious enthusiasts. Unless you need what's in them, it's generally best to use the stable drivers.
The newest stable versions of the main NVIDIA driver for Linux are at NVIDIA 470.63.01 released on July 19, 2021 from their "Production Branch" series or 465.31 released on April 29, 2020 from their "New Feature" series. Confused? It's a lot of numbers to remember but both Production and New Feature series are fine for normal use.
Memory leak (or what would be the appropriate term) with VKD3D-Proton is finally fixed.
Vkd3d master has a workaround for it, so are you sure if driver really fixed it or it is just vkd3d workaround?

Good point, though RAM usage also stays low when using latest 2.4 release that doesn't include this commit.Memory leak (or what would be the appropriate term) with VKD3D-Proton is finally fixed.
