If On A Winter's Night, Four Travelers is a free point and click adventure that has hopped over from itch.io to Steam and it's well worth grabbing as it's free. Presented with some gorgeous pixel-art, it's quite a treat and it won't take you too long to get through with it being about 2-3 hours long so you can breeze through it with a coffee in an afternoon.
A narrative-focused game giving you multiple perspectives with a horror theme, and it was something of a breakout hit when it appeared on itch with tens of thousands of downloads.

The game is set across four different acts:
- THE SILENT ROOM - In a luxurious hotel room in Rome, freshly arrived from Turin, Carlo awaits for his lover Patrick to arrive. However, as the shadow of fascism looms ever larger, the tension of meeting in constant hiding is beginning to take its toll.
- THE SLOW VANISHING OF LADY WINTERBOURNE - Lady Winterbourne has lost her husband in a tragic accident. Now letters from pretenders to her vast fortune keep arriving every day at her mansion, yet the only thing she's interested in is the bottle of laudanum in her cabinet.
- THE NAMELESS RITUAL - Harassed, ridiculed and belittled by his peers, Dr. Jordan Samuels has resorted to the occult sciences in a desperate attempt to turn the tables on his tormentors. But is he truly ready to face the Guardian of the Threshold?
- IF ON A WINTER'S NIGHT - As much as Laylah enjoys her job, sometimes she yearns for a bit of variety to distract her from her daily routine -- even if it means going against her very powerful bosses' orders.

The DLC features a nice art book and the good, melancholic sound track. The game is totally worth some bucks, but you can decide after playing yourself...

Nice, it's been sitting on my disk for months, taking ~1GB, and I didn't even remember I downloaded it. Now I can delete the dir, put the game on my steam "play soon" queue and install it just when I'm about to play. 
Gaming on Linux before Steam was hard.

Oh yeah, I highly recommend this game! Definitely one of the best games I've played lately and one that got me thinking still for a while after I've finished it.

Just wanna give a shout out to Italian author Italo Calvino whose BRILLIANT and FUN novel If on a Winter's Night a Traveler (IOAWNAT) was clearly the near namesake of this game. I'm going to have to play it just to see if the similarities end there. The content as described sounds like it's original to the game, but I'd love to see if any of IOAWNAT's clever structural playfulness was brought over.

I heard there's no connection beyond the name. But if you keep your expectations accordingly, something interesting awaits.
