You have money left from all the previous sales right? Well, prepare your wallet (again) for even more sales from two of the biggest stores around. Both Steam and GOG have their Halloween sales live, and of course there's almost no-end to the discounts.
Over on Steam, the new sale page actually highlights at the top various in-game events going on which is incredibly useful for those who want to dive into them and as you scroll down there's game after game to choose from. The special page also has various easy category links.
GOG meanwhile setup a few staff-picked lists including the Tricks collection, the Treats collection, the Scariest Discounts collection (best deals) and the Bestsellers collection featuring GOG's all-time hits. Every 48 hours GOG will also have special Flash Deals.
Personally, I'm getting seriously tempted by DEATH STRANDING on Steam as it's 60% off and seems to work well with Steam Play Proton nowadays and it seems it hasn't seen a higher discount yet. If you find a truly good discount, be sure to let your fellow readers know in the comments. As always, we're curious to know what you're picking up.
The Steam sale lasts until Sunday November 1 at 5PM UTC and the GOG sale goes on until November 3 at 2PM UTC.
Looking through the list, Two Point Hospital, Slime Rancher, Northgard, and The Talos Principle are all good games with bigger discounts. You can also get all the Metro games for £16.42, which seems like a pretty good deal.

I bought it, couple of minutes ago, before reading this article...
Quoting: Julius@Liam is there a reason the GoG links are all pointing to some ad-tracking redirect? This was answered before. GOG changed their affiliate program, this is who they use now.

Well it gets fully blocked by uBlock Origin, which certainly is a bit annoying.
So I don't think those affiliate links are going to work for most people.

They're pi-holed too, but it's easy to whitelist them, and you probably should since all of GOGs affiliates will use them, not just GOL. As for uBlock, just turn it off for gamingonlinux.com, since there are no ads on this site anyway. Or indeed any tracking cookies (other than GOG's affiliate links, the cookies required to log you in, and one to remember if you allow YouTube to load a thumbnail).
This entire site is like how a lesson on how to respect your visitors.

As Scaine said, it will affect any site going forward who are also a GOG partner as their old system is about to shut.
