Want another close look at the Steam Deck? Here's your chance as the developer Funselektor Labs Inc. has shown off art of rally on their devkit.

Two things to note: not only does art of rally have a native Linux version that's worked great every time we had a race on it, it's also a Deck Verified title - this means that it's been through the official certification by Valve. This means it will work out of the box on the Steam Deck, with good performance and everything working as expected.

As you can see in the video below it really is looking great:

With the Steam Deck releasing next Friday, we're likely to see plenty more videos on various games and all sorts running on the Linux-powered device from Valve.

You can buy art of rally for Linux from GOG, Humble Store and Steam.

I somehow had trouble getting the Steam Controller to behave. I wanted shoulder keys for break and accelerate, not forward on the joystick.

Looks like a good match for the deck!

Funselector recently expanded with more full-time employees. Some sort of mod support and a new location is planned for aor so apparently things are going quite well for them.

I wonder if they are using the Vulkan version of the game or OpenGL. Or are they running it with Proton (DX11, DX12)?
