Linux support arrived in the 1.3 update, which also fixed up some issues for the Steam Deck which they said they tested on directly for the update. Some tweaks were done to help like adjusting the UI and text size for clarity.

Game Features:

  • Experience a unique blend of deck-building roguelike and story-driven RPG.
  • Complete quests, save NPCs and build your village to help unlock new passive abilities that carry over from run to run.
  • Travel through corrupted lands inspired by Arthurian legends and learn the secrets behind ancient menhirs, Fore-dwellers and death itself.
  • Create endless combinations with nine distinctive classes, 460 cards, 340 passive skills and 50 masteries at your disposal.

Available to buy on Steam. Currently the new native build is not on GOG.

I tried playing it but my the performance on my GPU (AMD Fury) was terrible. I had around 10 fps and laggy feel. I tried Proton version as well and the results were similar.

Moreover I noticed that Steamcloud doesn't share progress between Windows and Linux instances.

First Roguebook, then Across the Obelisk, and now this! We're spoiled for deck-builders right now, it's superb. I bought this and played for an hour or so - really enjoyed it. It reminds me of NeoVerse but without the skimpy outfits - amazing graphics and a really nice 3rd person view for exploring the overworld. It has a really interesting block mechanic too.

My only critisism would be that not much is explained. There's block, barrier and armour and they all do slightly different things, some things end after a turn, others tick down and then you have a special attack no one even tells you about, which is weird. But great atmosphere, lots of promise.
