DEMON'S TILT, a frantic pinball game from WIZNWAR / FLARB LLC currently has a Playable rating for Steam Deck but it may get bumped up to Verified.

In the latest patch, the developer noted: "We're not verified quite yet, but I think this update should address the minor glitches Valve found when attempting to get Steam Deck verified.". Nice to see more developers pay attention and fix up issues for Deck gamers.

This is free on EGS at the moment, I claimed it last night and all ready played a few rounds. Pretty good table so far managed to break 6 mil on my second play but could really use a weekly leaderboard as the all time score board has such astronomically high scores even on the EGS version (Note the game might actually have a shared scoreboard across store fronts) that most have no chance in breaking them.

It seems like quite a few games are having some work put into them to get Verified. I guess they're looking at it like a new platform that has so far fewer users, but significant potential . . . and they don't have to rewrite the whole damn game to get it working on the platform, just do a couple tweaks.

No matter the perspective, the Deck is all about potential right now.

it occurs to me now that the majority of people who will claim this game on EGS have probably never seen a physical pinball machine, and likely never will.

Ah, clearly a reference to Devil's Crush on the PC Engine / Megadrive, great !

My absolute favorite is still Slam Tilt (on the Amiga), 26 years later. Would love to see something similar to it. It was brilliantly designed and super fun.

Neither they have watched an Antonioni film. Demon's Tilt is more like re-imagining virtual pinball rather than a simulation. Addictive all the same and the first game from EGS I installed through Heroic Launcher on Linux. I had to check E-Sync in the settings for steady 60 fps. I was getting half that without it.
