USB-C charging is a must for me. I've got a ThinkPad with USB-C charging and it's so nice to share a charger between my laptop and phone. Only works one way(phone charger is too weak), but it's a blessing for travel and house organization

It's tough since USB-PD only goes up to 100W currently but that should change soon with the new spec.

I understand some machines consume too much power to have USB-C charging as their only option for now. But even when it's a additional charger it's useful - my gaming laptop has a 150W barrel charging port, but can game for about 3 hours(1h on battery alone) when topped up by a 65W USB-C charger, so I can play in bed without moving the main charger.
