EndeavourOS, an Arch Linux-based distribution has a new release out with plenty of upgrades to the install process. It may not be "pure Arch", but it's damn close.
Giving you an easy to use installer in a live environment, that allows you to pick various desktop environments, it's easily one of the nicest distributions out there (if you can handle the regular updates). Unlike Manjaro that holds back updates to do some testing, EndeavourOS uses the plain Arch Linux repositories so you get all the updates when you look for them and whatever configuration Arch has for them — for better or worse. This was my personal choice OS until recently, when I hopped over to Fedora.
EndeavourOS Xfce - testing it live
A whole bunch of what's new is on the installer including a change to their internet check to not rely on GitHub or GitLab, a fix for when Xfce4 and i3 are both selected for installation, community editions now install with their dedicated Display Manager, a re-ordered desktop and package selection process, Firefox should no longer be installed when not chosen, compression is now being applied to the installed files for btrfs installs (instead of after) and more.
For the actual install once done, there's been a few changes there too. FirewallD has been enabled by default, there's a new EOS-quickstart application to help you out, a new NVIDIA installer, adjustments to their helper software repositories and a few other smaller changes.

I think the "Arch-based to beat", right now, is Garuda. I tell myself it's the best choice. I must resist the temptation to distro-hop once more.

If you could build your own system out of Manjaro in the same way you do with Arch then it would be cool. And no, Architect does not quite cut it.
If EndeavourOS could switch to a selection of packages that would not update until they had been tested then it would trump all other Arches!

i only have some sound issues(proper 5.1 don't work)but that is a Linux issue not EndeavourOS.
