Bonfire Peaks, one of the nicest puzzle games released in 2021 is getting an expansion in Lost Memories plus an update is out now with new features.

What is it? A block-pushing puzzle game created by Pipe Push Paradise and Hiding Spot developer Corey Martin, co-designed with Alan Hazelden, and with art by Mari Khaleghi and Zach Soares. It's absolutely gorgeous with the voxel-based world, and the developer said to expect no filler content — just great puzzles.

Firstly, the update that just landed has these features and fixes:

  • Added Photo Mode!
  • Fixed several position rounding bugs at low framerates
  • Fixed several rotation-based bugs at low framerates
  • Minor edit to level "Moving Day"
  • Fixed a softlock in level "Bodyguard"
  • Minor mesh optimizations
  • Audio mix edits

As for the expansion, it's a "trilogy of DLC" with Bonfire Peaks: Lost Memories and Chapter One will be available sometime in Q3 2022. Each chapter will have new puzzles and some new game mechanics too, so I'm thoroughly curious to see what they will sprinkle into it.
