Got a Steam Deck or another handheld PC? Well, this latest one is just for you. Humble have put up a Handheld PC Power Bundle of games.

All of the games included are either Steam Deck Verified or Playable, so clearly Humble Bundle have been paying attention to the wider industry. Not surprising, considering how popular the Steam Deck and anything surrounding it continues to be.

Anyway, here's the games included in the bundle:

  • Exanima (Verified)
  • MechWarrior 5: Mercenaries (Playable)
  • Mutant Year Zero: Road to Eden - Deluxe Edition (Playable)
  • Neon Abyss (Verified)
  • Orcs Must Die! 2 - Complete (Playable)
  • Orcs Must Die! 3 (Verified)
  • Paint the Town Red (Verified)
  • Parkasaurus (Playable)

Check out the bundle if interested.

Have to admit my finger is hovering over the trigger for this, Parkasaurus looks wonderful. Somewhat amusing though is how they say "Handheld Verified" or "Handheld Playable", likely as there's all sorts of rules around advertising and using the Steam Deck name directly.

Not a lot for me in this one, but I hope that we'll see more bundles like this going forward - they'd be a good fit for my Xubuntu-powered GPD Win Max, as well as for the Steam Deck.

MechWarrior 5: Mercenaries, Playable, "Platina" on ProtonDB, hmm, interesting!

I had to do a double take as I misread that as "Handheld PowerPC Bundle of games".

Not sure what rules there might be; Fanatical for instance has no problem listing "Steam Deck Support: Verified"

Apparently I have to pay $20 to get MechWarrior 5.

Sure I could do that and TECHNICALLY save $10 off the current MSRP $30.

But I have no shortage of things to play, it did look fun in one of Liam's live streams a while ago, I think I will wait for the Summer Sale

I don't like Humble Bundle anymore because they changed the entry pricing a lot, and because it feels like a buffet.

If you want quantity and not quality a buffet may be perfect for you, but if you want to eat actually quality food you would never settle for just getting a bunch of [ stuff ] to add to your heap of stuff you didn't really want anyways.

Fanatical is owned and operated in the UK though, Humble is US based, both have very different rules. Really though, we have no idea.

Mutant Year Zero is really nice game. I liked it.
