While I enjoyed the landscape painting, I never really connected with it as a strategy game. Couldn't spot how my choices impacted things - or if they did. Ended up just trying to do pretty towns for a while before giving up.

Same. The game looks great I just didn't have fun playing it.

SimCity 2000 was really fun and I think it was because it wasn't so complicated and you could actually tell what was going on.

I already had maybe half the DLC and the game, but I went and bought the pack anyways. Anybody want my unused Steam keys? It's a giveaway I guess, one man's trash is another man's treasure. I'll PM the keys to the first taker.
Claimed.

I guess if you want to hand out your extra keys I'll take them as I've not got much of the DLC for the game yet. All I have right now is After Dark DLC wise.

Can you buy that and just unlock the DLCs if you have some of them?

I have about half the DLCs, but the rest struck me sometimes as too heavy.

Just wow. The best city builder with all the content available in a good price i don't have the majority of DLC's so.

Usually they are all separate keys, so you can only redeem the ones you don't already own.
On top of that, you can activate and deactivate which owned DLCs should be used in the steam properties if that's your concern.

SimCity 4 was my long time favorite. I really liked the regions feature, where you could have connected cities that shared resources. I once created a city called Trash Town that was literally nothing but smog belching power plants and garbage dumps, then I created a neighbor city that was super clean because it got all of its electricity from and sent all of its garbage to Trash Town

I haven't given the game enough chance because I wasn't in the mood for a learning curve last time I tried it. I'm never in a learning curve mood when I'm in a chill, city-building mood. Anyway, yeah, wasn't fun right away. I'll have to give it like an hour go at least.

Does anyone know how "Native" this "Native Linux" bundle is? The last time I bought something from Humble it was just a bunch of Steam keys, and I was disappointed by that.
