As a new guy around here my only Linux gaming PC is my Steam Deck so I can't really fill this out correctly as the GPU isn't listed. I won't talk about my actual gaming PC as I'll probably get roasted alive... but I will say the Steam Deck has opened my eyes to stuff I didn't realise was possible so who knows where that might lead me in the future...

It is listed, it was added yesterday. Just enter Steam Deck in the GPU field and you will see it.

Thanks, found it now.

Steam Deck is also now an option under "Main gaming machine", since I think including it directly there will be useful.

So, should we select this if the rest of the information is about our Steam Deck or if we're mostly using the Steam Deck, not the PC that the rest of the information describes?

You enter in, as always, whatever your main gaming unit is. Nothing has changed on that, just now you can very specifically state in that one question exactly as Steam Deck.

Gotcha :) May I request a new field then, similar to the VR one, where we can select if we use any handheld Linux machine apart from our main PC?

I'm thinking something like this:

I don't think this would be enough to cover all relevant info.
I currently play on 3 different machines: a desktop pc, a Steam Machine for couch gaming, a Steam Deck for handheld.
What constitutes my main gaming pc these days varies wildly.
A few years ago I'd never have thought we could have this kind of problem

Quoting: CybolicI'm thinking something like this:
I use a GPD Win Max 2021 as my main Linux gaming PC and as my main portable Linux gaming machine (I also have an Anbernic RG351MP running 351ELEC as a small companion device), but that wouldn't be covered by an option like this because GPD is only listed as a provider of console-like options and not for their x86 laptop/palmtop options. I have to agree with malkien and mirv - I think that it might be a bit tricky to cover all of the choices, here, which is a pretty nice problem to have in a market that tends to be dismissed as being too niche to bother with!

I might at a later date switch my info over to the Deck as it is what I'm mostly playing games on since I got it. Gonna leave it on my main tower for a while longer until I decide if I'm going to go through and remove a ton of my installed games or not. Good chance I'll eventually switch over to my Deck for nearly all of my gaming but not quite yet as for one thing I can easily hook my HOTAS into my tower to play Elite at 4K which is what I've been playing the most the last few months as far as a single title goes.
