Love your musical games and want to get into the rhythm? Fech The Ferret looks like a pretty clever blending of ideas.

It's a fast-paced parkour platformer with seriously vibrant and inviting colours. The hook here is that the faster you go, the better the music gets. A mixture of high speed 3D platforming and rhythmic subtones inside of a colorful open world. The developer emailed in about it, making it clear they fully support Linux with a Native build and there's also a demo available to try right now.

"Fech The Ferret especially caters to those who gotta go fast and would rather climb walls than do precise platforming, but you can also enjoy it at your own pace and explore this rich world in search of secrets, or perhaps chat with some Marmocleans."

Sounds like a fun idea, so will be keeping an eye on this one. If you do give it a go, let us know what you think in the comments, it's fun to see more music games come along for sure.

You can try out a demo on Steam and also follow on itch.io too.

He posts what he's doing with Fech on the Sonic Fan Games HQ, it's been interesting to watch how this game has come on.

I tried the demo and there wasn't much point to it than running around aimlessly. As it's alpha teaser, there's of course still lot of time to improve things.
