What other classics would you like to see revived for modern stores and platforms? Let us know in the comments. There's likely thousands that could do well with a proper re-release don't you think? Some older games just have an atmosphere that plenty of modern games can't touch, although there's a bit of nostalgia at play there at times.

Oh no. Those guys are the worst when it comes to Linux support.
Their Bards Tale port for Linux has an input bug that makes character run in a direction non stop for years. I've tried to reach them via multiple channels but they don't just don't respond.
i think i see more and more overpriced games that will do 'fake' -50% discount soon :P
Yeap 100% agree..... Thank Lord Gaben that we have regular good sales on Steam so we can pick and choose when to buy games......

Dunno, but I had a different experience back in the day. I found a bug where they didn't check the return value of an X call for NULL, which in my case it was because I'm running multiple monitors on separate X screens without Xinerama. I hacked together a quick LD_PRELOAD fix that both works around the bug and shows what they missed, put that up in the Steam forums for anyone who needs that and send a bug report with the same information their way. Shortly after, they release a new version where that was fixed.

Nope, they claimed they fixed the issue i mentioned last year but it still persists.
This should no longer been an issue with the latest LTS update.
This doesn't make sense to begin with anyways, that is a distro agnostic issue.

You mean the newer bards tale V? I never experienced such a issue, thought it did have performance issues in areas.
I think the big issue is they made the Linux version use OpenGL instead of Vulkan which is a byproduct of using OLDER engine versions. Developers often struggle updating to newer engine versions especially when it involves moving graphics APIs.

The all-new Remastered & Resnarked update adds support for Steam Achievements and Steam Trading Cards, as well as Italian language support, compatibility improvements with 64-bit systems, and more!
Huh, which Bard's Tale did they port, the top down version? I don't think I have ran into that bug on it. I should try it on my Deck.Square One Games Inc.

This one.
The shit thing with this updated port is that the PC version doesn't even have proper gamepad support. It is the reason I never beat it (though steam says I have 13.8 hours in it! Probably all the times I have tried to get it to work). On the Steam Deck I had to use a different gamepad profile for me to even get into a game... they should patch in Steam Input then it would be all happy.Huh, which Bard's Tale did they port, the top down version? While I have not had this issue with the input bug, it is kind of silly that the game can clearly detect if you have a gamepad, yet does not automatically turn it on and you have to use your mouse / other pointing device to turn it on. I couldn't get 'proper' gamepad support to work on the Steam Deck at all, and had to use a wasd controller layout that a community member made.Square One Games Inc.
