Want some accessories for your Steam Deck? Well JSAUX recently put out their Docking Station, along with some other goodies for you to look into.
They have two models available with the Docking Station for Steam Deck and the newer and more expensive Upgraded Docking Station for Steam Deck which come with plenty of ports available. The main difference between the two appears to be the upgraded version having three USB 3 ports and Gigbit Ethernet, with the original having two USB 2 ports and slower Ethernet. Both also have a 4K@60Hz HDMI 2.0 output too.
It of course also supports power delivery at 100W max, which is plenty to charge and power the Steam Deck at full speed.
Seems like it might be worth picking up, especially since Valve delayed the official Steam Deck Dock and we have no idea when they plan to make it available as they haven't said much on it lately.
Additionally JSAUX also sell various other accessories like the Silicon Protective Case for Steam Deck, Plain Screen Protectors, Screen Protectors with a fancy border, a Protective Standing Case and more. Perhaps there might be something you like the look of.
I've been told we're getting some sent over here, so I should be able to take a look at them at some point.
Quoting: areamanplaysgameI'm not sure I really understand the point of the "dock" so much. The hub makes perfect sense, but standing the Deck up doesn't seem all that useful. Does anybody use/ plan to use it this way? I've never used my Switch standing up either - it's either handheld or docked and displaying on my TV.Personally, I like being able to use the Steam Deck as a secondary device, not necessarily connected to an external display - depending on what I'm doing of course - and for that, having it docked like that while connected to an external keyboard/mouse is quite comfortable.
Quoting: WoozyFetusSeems nice but what is the point of 4k HDMI being advertised when the steam deck only ever outputs 720p? Seems deceiving if you don't know thatThe Steam Deck supports up to 8K@60Hz or 4k@120Hz on external displays according to the specs. I haven't tested 4K myself, but 3440x1440@50Hz works just fine.

Yes. It's all but necessary for multiplayer. Or at least I can't think of a way to do multiplayer without standing up the Switch.
That use case don't make a ton of sense for the Deck? The controllers don't come off, so you'd have to buy/bring 2 extra controllers that Valve doesn't make instead of one controller that Valve doesn't make, lol.
But standing it up does make perfect sense for a dock to me. One might want the comfort/use of a mouse and keyboard, but not have access to monitor.

Dock it and play it on the TV? I guess for multiplayer on the go, yeah, the kickstand makes sense. Outside my use case though.
