Hanoi Studios have today put up their second multi-developer bundle on Steam, with a primary focus on highlighting studios that support Linux. Their first bundle was Linux & Chill that went live on Steam back in 2021 and now we have a new collection.

Giordano Pereira of Hanoi Studios emailed in recently to mention "One of our key initiatives is to develop games for every kind of gamers, that's why we always port our games to every single OS, including Linux."

This new Linux & Thrills bundle includes:

  • The Death Into Trouble
  • Stone Story RPG (I'm a big fan of this one)
  • I'm on Observation Duty 4
  • Zodiacats
  • Save Room - Organization Puzzle

They have a trailer to go over each below:

I happened to finish Zodiacats just a moment ago. Not sure how it fits the thrill theme, but if you like cats and jigsaw puzzles (if you buy it because you like the jigsaw shape, you're going to be disappointed: they're squares), it's easily worth the 1,55€ it costs.

As for the bundle itself, if you don't like Stone Story RPG, it might not be worth it. The thing is that it costs more than the other games combined. Luckily there's a demo.

a lot of the video was dedicated to the logo...
i thought tux would be a playable character at least twice, when i saw the thumbnail of the video and when i saw it at the video itselft, its a shame its not the case, i would love to see some hand draw animated game where you play as an penguim, think something like cuphead with an different art style and a penguim as the mascot...
or maybe something like pingus, extreme tux racer , super tux and super tux kart... but good, like pingus.
its a shame its not the case, but good to see we being celebrated anyway.

as for organization room, wow never expected some one would make a game about this.

The bundle specifics don't entice me, but I dig the concept!

That logo looks awesome.....

But at 38.49 Dollarydoos that bundle is to much for my cheap blood....

The price of the ASCII RPG is the problem here. I think most people would have happily bought a bundle containing the other games.

Yeah, it's missing balance.

Hey guys, Giordano Pereira from Hanoi Studios here!

First, I'd like to thanks for the article and for the support of everyone, I'm reading all feedbacks.

Regarding the bundle's price and balance - Previously we had 6 confirmed games for this bundle with the 6th being of a price average between the cheaper games and the most expensive one (SSRPG) which would've balanced the bundle in a more "healthy way".

Unfortunately the studio wasn't able to send everything we needed in time and was delaying the bundle's release and we (the other 5 devs/studios) decided to launch it now!

About Tux being "playable" - We do have a project of a game involving him and if you have any ideias or references of what might be interesting game design-wise we would be very happy to hear!
