Recently developer Realmforge Studios and publisher Kalypso Media announced Dungeons 4, and so they put all the previous games into a Humble Bundle for you. No word yet on exact platform support for Dungeons 4, or even a release date other than 2023.

As usual I'll list the Deck Verified rating for Steam Deck and any notes on Linux Native or ProtonDB compatibility levels.

Anyway, here's what you can get in the bundle:

Dungeons + various DLC

  • steam deck verified Deck Unchecked
  • ProtonDB Bronze (but all reports are old)

Dungeon 2 + various DLC

  • steam deck verified Deck Unchecked
  • Linux Native

Dungeons 3 + various DLC

  • steam deck verified Deck Unchecked
  • Linux Native

Check out the Dungeons: The Complete Trilogy bundle.

If you're interested in Unity game development, Humble also have The ultimate Unity game creator’s kit up live right now too.

the dungeons games are great, but if anyone out there likes the genre and hasn't played War for the Overworld, check it out as well!

I would love this genre, except everything post-Dungeon Keeper seems to be allergic to active/tactical pause. *sigh*

I'm your opinion, how does it compare to dungeon keeper? I really liked off the wall humor of the first one. I think it's expect no less from the genre

War for the Overworld was far less fun for me than Dungeon Keeper 1 & 2.

Some good ideas, but overall the monsters had less "personality" to them, and the game, while ok, felt a bit bland.
I haven't tried Dungeons 3 yet, but I think it has a coop campaign ? That would be nice to try

humour is subjective but I found WFTO humour much funnier than the Dungeons series, and closer to the original series (they also bring back the original dungeon keeper narrator for some bone-dry sarcasm). I think I'd agree that the monsters you get are less memorable in WFTO than in DK1/DK2, but there's also a lot more variety. WFTO also leans a little heavier into RTS mechanics than the original series (and more than the Dungeons series), which takes some getting used to, but I found it to be great.

It certainly does! I like being able to split responsibility and have one person build the dungeon and the other does the fights on the top-world. That's how I do it anyway. The game let's you do whatever you want. You and your friend decide how you're going to cooperate and not step on each other's toes. I really like the game.
