The 2K Megahits Bundle is a great looking deal

By -

2K have plenty of good games under their belt and they have a new 2K Megahits Bundle with some top games and some classics included together. Going over each game I'll list the Steam Deck Verified rating plus either Native Linux status or ProtonDB ranking so you've got the full picture.

Borderlands 3 Super Deluxe

  • steam deck verified Deck Playable
  • ProtonDB Gold

XCOM The Ultimate Collection:

  • XCOM: Enemy Unknown
    • steam deck verified Deck Unsupported (but works!)
    • Linux Native
  • XCOM 2
    • steam deck verified Deck Playable
    • Linux Native
  • XCOM: Chimera Squad
    • steam deck verified Deck Playable
    • ProtonDB Gold

BioShock The Collection:

  • BioShock
    • steam deck verified Deck Playable
    • ProtonDB Gold
  • BioShock 2
    • steam deck verified Deck Playable
    • ProtonDB Gold
  • BioShock Infinite
    • steam deck verified Deck Unsupported
    • Linux Native (but see below)

Worth noting some BioShock games had launcher issues recently.

Civilization VI

  • steam deck verified Deck Playable
  • Linux Native

Mafia: Definitive Edition

  • steam deck verified Deck Unsupported (but playable with workarounds)
  • ProtonDB Gold

PGA TOUR 2K21

  • steam deck verified Deck Playable
  • ProtonDB Gold

WWE 2K BATTLEGROUNDS

  • steam deck verified Deck Unsupported (but works)
  • ProtonDB Platinum

That's all the big hits in the bundle but there's also a bunch of classics like Army Men RTS, Sid Meier's Railroads!, the classic X-COM games and more. Aside from some issues with 2K sticking launchers into things that you can workaround, this really is a good deal.

What a good opportunity to show that one is not willing to give them money until they address the mess they have made recently.

I'd buy it, but set 2K to 0.

Then, I own most of these already...

It's possible to adjust the donation so that none of the money goes to Take 2 Interactive (2k's parent company). Their revenue was more than two billion dollars in 2021.
It can all go to charity (except for Humble's minimum take) and/or even GamingOnLinux when you use the affiliate link.

Missed opportunity for Humble to call this the 2K launcher bundle :)

Surely a better way to signal that is to not give them any money at all (ergo: not purchasing their games)?
