Recently the Steam Deck hit over 6,000 games marked as Playable and Verified together, so I took a little look at some of the entries across October to point out some fun picks.
Featuring games both new and old, games going through Deck Verified can be a fun reminder of what existing games are out there to go through your back catalogue. You can see Valve's list here, although they really need to upgrade it as sorting by the verification date ends up showing games that had a small tweak to their listing without a change to the verified status so it can confuse people.

My quick picks are:
- Serial Cleaners
- UNCHARTED: Legacy of Thieves Collection
- CULTIC
- Unrailed! (Native Linux)
- Persona 5 Royal
- Anger Foot Demo
- BATTLETECH (Playable - Native Linux but Steam Deck uses Proton)
- NEO: The World Ends with You (Playable)
- Shatterline (Playable)
All of them should work on desktop Linux too thanks to Proton or Native Linux builds.

I live... again! Cultic is fantastic. It really measures up well to its obvious inspiration, Blood.

Cultic "But Wait There Is More" is more than just inspired by blood.
That's what make it good. It doesn't imitate, it play on the strengths other figured out but amp them up.
One of the greatest boomer shooter out there, no doubt.
Unlike something like Fortune's Run, it may even not use more buttons that the deck provide.
