All owners of Saints Row IV are getting bumped up to the Saints Row IV: Re-Elected edition, plus cross-play across different stores. So players on Steam, GOG and Epic will be able to play together.
This means everyone who didn't have it before will gain access to the Enter the Dominatrix and How the Saints save Christmas mission DLC, plus various outfits and weapon DLC (there's quite a lot) including the Anime Pack, Dubstep Remix Pack, Presidential Pack, Wild West Pack and so on.
From the announcement it will go live for Windows on December 8th, with a note that it will be "later for Linux players". The Linux port was originally done by Virtual Programming, who we've not heard from or seen ports from in a long time, so it will be interesting to see if they do fully hook up the cross-play for the Linux version too.

The only thing I am missing from the franchise is the 3rd remastered.

I don't think you're missing anything except more bugs.
I've recently re-played 3, IV and GooH and they all work if you disable dxvk console output since IV/GooH do some bad things many times per seconds so that the span tanks the frame rate.
Now Saints Row 2 could really use some patching, but it seems that they do not have the source code.
Quoting: LoftyIm guessing using proton is probably the best way to play this now.
Better for what? I played that game years ago. From the date of my achievements and the screenshots I can determine that I used my GTX970 at 3440x1440 resolution and had no performance issues. That's potato level for current standards. So maybe proton can give you more fps, but it's not really needed.

Stability perhaps. i used to have frequent crashes with the native version.
Quoting: LoftyNative version for 4 seemed to work fine when I last played through it years ago. Didn't beat GooH yet, but last time I played, it was also rather stable.Quoting: EhvisQuoting: LoftyIm guessing using proton is probably the best way to play this now.
