Released back in 2018, the one-button arcade game Ding Dong XL from Adamvision Studios that has an Overwhelmingly Positive Steam user rating gets upgraded ready for Steam Deck.
It already had a Native Linux version, so this was mainly the developer testing and ensuring it all looks and works well on the Steam Deck directly. They also noted only the 64bit Linux version was updated as they weren't sure if the 32bit build was even needed (it's really not).
Here's what they noted had changed:
- Updated to a newer Unity Engine version.
- Fixed a bunch of minor reported bugs.
- Adjusted some particle effects to be less performance draining.
- Added the internal leaderboards menu (and kept link to Steam full menu).
- Updated the Adamvision logo splash, no more bright white screen, this is the future.
- Made some changes to ensure compatibility on Steam Deck, tested and confirmed working great :).
Never played it before myself but certainly looks like one of those games I wouldn't be able to put down if I started it. Looks really easy to get into, see the trailer below:
