Proton Experimental from Valve has been upgraded fixing up some more problematic games for Steam Deck and Linux Desktop.
Here's what's changed for the February 27th update:
- Fix No Man's Sky VR mode not working after a recent game update.
- Fix No Man's Sky crashing when using a controller after a recent game update.
- Fix intro video not playing in Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty demo.
- Fix Pentiment not working on desktop.
- Fix Locoland rendering main menu incorrectly.
- Fix Deus Ex: Human Revolution Director's Cut hanging indefinitely on exit.
Changelog available here.
If you're confused on Proton and all the different versions, see my original guide on Proton. Proton Experimental gets automatically installed if Valve set it on a game, or you can just search for Proton Experimental in your Steam Library (not the Steam Store) to install it.

Glad they FINALLY fixed the issue with Deus Ex. I beat the game before and it was annoying to kill the task or force close in desktop Steam and the Deck.
