The upcoming "Paws & Claws" update for Core Keeper sounds wonderful, adding in two major features with pets and a creative mode.

Releasing on May 10th it will have an entirely new Meadow biome featuring cattle, animal companions you can hatch and lots of new game mechanics. There's also going to be new decorative items too like glass that could be useful. Adding a creative mode sounds good too, for those that prefer things a bit more peaceful. This creative mode also has a god mode, allowing you to move much more freely including through objects.

Core Keeper was really fun to play with my wife, but honestly the last two biomes (sea, desert) were a bore. Just vast areas of nothingness (water, sand) to make the biome huge for no reason. The jungle one is of the same size as those, but somehow felt more "filled".

This is one of those I've been waiting to leave EA to play, but it seems it's ALSO one of those that might be forever in EA. They don't even have an estimated release date on the store page lol. Might just have to try it out on the Deck.

I haven't given it a fair shake. I played one session by myself once. I didn't figure out what I was supposed to do or the point of anything. I guess it's a game I have to read or watch a guide first. :(
