No tooting about Trombone Champ? I'm surprised.

I really don't know why Trombone Champ is not verified. Sure, gyro can't really compete against M+K, yet who cares if you only compare gyro to gyro. It's hillarious and that discord channel gives you endless tooting joy with thousands of custom songs.

I spent the whole weekend playing Melody's Escape 2 (I'm exaggerating of course, but you get the idea). It's an almost Zen-like experience, listening to one's own music collection and pressing buttons in the rhythm.

It runs well on the Steam Deck too. I mounted the music folder from my desktop via sshfs, and it works good enough. Takes a second or two to load the files over network, but that's only while selecting the track. No slowdown or stutter during actual gameplay.

Thanks for the hint. Kind of neglected the bundle since I already own Trombone Champ and never heard of the others. A Zen-like rhythm game that runs well on the deck, though, is really tempting and the bundle costs less then that game...

Just one warning in advance: The game does not support streaming services due to their license terms. It requires local music files.

Without mods, that is.
