One of the most well-reviewed games on Steam from an indie developer and quite a tragic game, it's getting a Definitive Edition on July 18th.
What is it? "Lisa is a quirky side-scrolling RPG set in a post-apocalyptic wasteland. Beneath the charming and funny exterior is a world full of disgust and moral destruction. Players will learn what kind of person they are by being FORCED to make choices. These choices permanently effect the game play. If you want to save a party member from death, you will have to sacrifice the strength of your character. Whether it's taking a beating for them, or chopping off limbs, or some other inhuman way. You will learn that in this world being selfish and heartless is the only way to survive..."
The new version will bring remastered HD graphics, an updated UI, new quests, new boss battles, new secrets, bonus content and more. Check out the new trailer:

You can buy it right now from Steam. The Definitive Edition will be a free update. It has Native Linux support and Valve rated it as Steam Deck Playable.
What about the itch.io version? Will it get the Definitive Edition too?
Might have to email the dev about that. I find some devs forget about Itch once they’re in the cool Steam club. Which is sad because Itch is also typically DRM free and more friendly to games than GOG.
You will learn that in this world being selfish and heartless is the only way to surviveisn't really my thing even in a game, so I'm glad they warn about it.
It's probably a good game, and I appreciate the way the game makes it clear in the description that it is probably not for me.

It do be like that...
The cult following is well earned. This update is warmly more than welcomed.

Um, no thanks. I'm not going anywhere near this game.

That wasn't a "personal recommendation" for *** you *** -- how could I recommend something when I don't even know you.
Some people won't listen to Eminem because of his controversial lyrics. And that's fine.
Other people are parts of clubs that will never watch movies like The Matrix 1 simply because they are " Rated R " -- or have other "banned movies" -- and that's fine.
Other people choose for themselves to have a ban on books in their little communities -- and that's fine.
If you want to be a puritan, just make sure you don't scoff at everyone else for being a "SiNNeR" -- even Tattoos were taboo for the longest time and the mark of a heretic -- let's not look down on others for liking "Rock Music" here.

I am no puritan and my post isn't an answer to your post. I didn't even quote you.
Where exactly in my post am I looking down on people who like this game.
I simply looked up the Store Page and made a comment about the game itself and stated purely my own opinion on it, that's all.
If you look at my comment, the words in bold are the real reason I don't like this game.
If someone else isn't bothered by this kind of content I don't care.
See more from me
