Lost for Swords is an in-development turn-based roguelike card game with a unique twist, playable in your browser via itch.io it has sucked away a fair amount of my time recently. It has downloads for Windows, which I haven't checked via Wine, because it works great in the browser.

It's a dungeon crawler where the twist is that the items you pick up can only be used once, so it's all about thinking and planning ahead as much as possible to make it to the next floor. Monsters also only move and attack when you interact with a card, so you get plenty of time to think about the best positioning and moves possible.

Each game shuffles all the equipment cards and other cards and then gets spread around, so it's a slightly different challenge each time. Between floors you can also upgrade your equipment to try and get the best possible deck built.

A simple well executed idea that has a lot of charm to it. I'm keen to see how this one continues to expand during development as we're only seeing a slice of what's possible right now. I'm getting a mixed feeling here between Slay the Spire and Dicey Dungeons and I think this will work out quite well when it releases in full.

Well worth a go. Check it out on itch.io.
