Thanks to a partnership with the open source app OpenRGB, you'll be able to easily customize the Dock lighting how you want which is really fun to see. The RGB Docking Station comes in two versions either an 8 in 1 or a 12 in 1. Here's the details on what each has:

JSAUX also mention the 12 in 1 supports 4K@120Hz, providing that one only HDMI or DP port is used.
The other release is their new transparent backplate that comes with RGB lighting as well ($39.99 / €35.63). This backplate comes with it's own battery and light switch, with a USB-C port to charge it up so it won't mess with the power from the Steam Deck itself. It also comes with some slide-over silicone grips for the sides of the Steam Deck.

I wonder how they got 4k 120 working through HDMI last I checked, you would need HDMI 2.1 for that which doesn't work on the AMD Linux driver

The dock is able to do 4k 120hz, the Steamdeck can't, but you can use something else on the dock for that output
