The summer season is coming to an end; students are heading back to school and tech deals are popping up from left to right. Capcom has seen fit to get in on the season with the Capcom End of Summer Steam Sale. With platforming legends like Mega Man and entire Arcade Collections receiving deep discounts.

If you're looking for some new games On Deck here's some recommendations. All are steam deck verified Steam Deck Verified and all with store links to save you some time:

Mega Man Legacy Collection

Mega Man Zero/ZX Legacy Collection

Mega Man 11

Capcom Arcade Stadium

Capcom Arcade 2nd Stadium

Strider

Duck Tales Remastered

Okami HD

Capcom Beat 'Em Up Bundle

In my personal opinion, the game to get here is Strider. A Metroidvania reinvention of the classic arcade game that honestly isn't talked about enough when it comes to the genre. It's also only $5 in this sale, I cannot recommend this game enough. Sound off if you have any other recommendations as well!

The Capcom End of Summer Steam Sale ends on August 21st.

A humble Steam Deck owner and fledgling Linux user in general. I've always been interested in Linux replacing Windows as the primary PC gaming OS. But it was always a mess of frustration, drivers, and not knowing which kernel was best. When SteamOS3 and Steam Deck hit the scene however, I realized the true potential of Linux as a gaming platform.

Okami is a classic masterpiece, definitely worth a look.

I'm obligated to pop in and recommend cutesy robot games whenever they come up on GOL, so I just have to point out that Mega Man 11 is an excellent revival for that series and well worth grabbing at a discount - it works great under Proton.

The collections are good for what they are, too - not just the Mega Man ones, but the arcade ones too. Actually, everything in this sale is really good.

Yes, but let's be fair, that's not a high bar - getting your eyeball cut out with a rusty soda-can is better than Mighty No. 9, after all.
