A farming-themed card drafting game? Well that's a new one. Crop Rotation is releasing on September 15th and there's a fresh demo available on Steam now too. It will have Native Linux support at release.

The developer doesn't give you much to go on though, here's the synopsis:

You have taken a loan to buy an automated farm. The loan is huge but the farm should pay for itself right ??? RIGHT???

Crop Rotation is a farming-theme card drafting game. Cards are played automatically so you can focus on the deck building and building synergies.

Earn enough money to pay off the loan, or spend all of them rerolling for that one card

Play in relaxed mode, or chase high score in rating mode, or play the weekly mode to show off your skill.

Seems like it could be interesting, nice to see indie developers continue trying all sorts of new things both weird and wonderful like this. They're a solo developer and you can follow them for more on Mastodon.

Check it out on Steam.

Wish this looked good because I like the theme... but I watched NorthernLion play it, and it seems pretty mid, with a number of missteps.
