Reminds me that I should play more of Kingdom Come: Deliverance. Fantastic RPG.

"Fall of Porcupine" somehow sounded familiar. After clicking I realized that it was a game that launched only 1½ months ago and got a stellar review from The Escapist. (Though apparently, there's also a lot of bugs to contend with).

I'm guessing sales didn't meet expectations. I feel sorry for the team. This is one hard business to be in.

One of the Most immersive games out there. Combat is a bit weird at first, but once you get used to it, its pretty damn good. Theres ofc a lot of weird/funny jank in the game also, but still. I love the fact that NPCs have their own daily routines. Where they eat, where and what time they work, where they live etc etc. It makes it so immersive to just spectate people about their routines and then rob them clean lol.

First game I recall this being a thing on was either Ultima V or VI.

Ha, Ultima Online was developed with this huge ecology where the rabits would spawn in an area where there was grass, so then the wolves would hunt there, etc... then when they opened it to players, all they did was murder everything they saw... so the developers sighed and removed it so the CPUs were not wasting cycles on something players didn't care about. Really sad statement about humanity...

The only one in here that's really of interest to me is Rain World, so I'll just wait for that to show up on its own in a future sale.
