It's a shame that it took five years from you asking about it before it happened, but good on Ethan Lee (and likely good on Steam Deck) for making it happen.

I got 9 hours on this game, and yeah it's pretty kickass, especially for a marble nerd like me -- obviously Marble Gold is kind of legendary -- this game is well worth the play -- especially on steam deck.

If you played "Marble It Up!" (now "Marble It Up! Classic"), your save data might be in jeopardy!

My save data in Steam cloud for the original game was wiped out with this new release. Thankfully I still had the save data on my local steam deck in the compatdata folder. It is located here:
AppData/LocalLow/Bad Habit/MarbleItUp

You'll need to move the save data from the original game compatdata folder (864060) (this is now used for Ultra) to the new game compatdata used for Classic: 1286120.

Classic does not appear to support cloud saves, so definitely backup your save data elsewhere to avoid accidental deletion. I recommend moving the save folder somewhere "safe" like your normal Documents folder, then symlinking it back to the proper location in the compatdata folder. That way if your compatdata folder gets reset, you won't lose the save data.
