I can't say much about the game itself, because I didn't get very far. I feel like I need to post this warning though: If you are sensitive to motion sickness, Firewatch might not be the right game for you. I had to stop playing, because I kept getting nausea from it.

Been a while, but it felt a bit too slow and contemplative for my taste. Like walking from one place to the next so the story would continue, but not really doing anything to influence it. Not really my cup of tea but beautiful and well made for what it is. I still played it to the end (and I don’t remember much of anything regarding the actual story so I won’t comment on that).

I would describe it the same way, with the exception that I enjoyed the fact that it is a walking simulator.
It's not unforgettable, but it's good if that genre is your thing.
