Seems a whole bunch of gamers may be quite happy over the next few years, with a fresh leak from the ongoing saga of FTC v. Microsoft showing off a bunch of games coming. Spotted by The Verge, the list is actually from 2020 so it is a bit outdated and no doubt the plans have changed since ZeniMax Media was acquired by Microsoft in 2021.

Named Titles include:

  • Fallout 3 Remaster
  • Oblivion Remaster
  • DOOM Year Zero
  • Ghostwire Tokyo Sequel
  • Dishonored 3
  • Indiana Jones

Plus there's a few unnamed secret titles:

  • Project Hibiki
  • Project Kestrel
  • Project Platinum
  • Licensed IP Game

Have to admit, the idea of a Fallout 3 Remaster has me quite excited, as possibly my favourite entry in the series. Hopefully at least some of this is still planned!

Quoting: slaapliedjeI decided long ago that Microsoft shouldn't get any of my money. Thanks for the list of stuff I don't need to spend money on :P

I would actually be willing to overlook my vindictive dislike for Microsoft, but what I won't overlook is that eventually they are going to tie everything to their "UWP" rubbish interfaces. We'll be lucky if they leave old Bethesda titles alone when they start converting games. I wouldn't trust them to be the gatekeeper of my snot.

Oh well, they can't touch my GoG Fallout 3. I'd otherwise love a remaster of that game, for me Fallout 3 was the best of them.

I'd love a remaster of Fallout 3, but beyond that I want them to never touch the franchise ever again. Fallout 4 was an okay FPS, but a trash RPG and a trash Fallout game, it comes off as if they have no respect for the lore and setting and make these games with only goal being to make a Fallout flavored rollercoaster.
What I really need in life is remasters of Fallout 1 and 2, not sure if I would want it to be an FPS... But a realtine combat option like in Tactics would be hugely appreciated. Frankly the main thing I can't stomach about those old games anymore is just the camera and how it moves tile by tile rather than smoothly across the screen, also the camera does not follow the player, there is a key that centers te player on screen and you can use an autoclicker to press that button frequently, but with the tile movement of the camera it's nauseatingpy choppy

Quoting: razing32I honestly wonder how that Fallout 3 remaster will look like.
Starfield and all the bugs I've seen so far doesn't make me hopeful.
Have you actually played Starfield, or just watched click-bait YouTube videos? Because my experience in over 40 hours of play is that it actually has very few significant bugs, and the graphics are often quite gorgeous.

I'm currently on Baldurs Gate 3 but did get Starfield as a gift recently , just have not had time to try it.
Haven't really watched youtube , just what i saw on some meme sites and those bugs were weird. Was planning to wait for a few patches to be honest but will see. Opinion was divided between it's good to it's empty/buggy.

I'm 20 hours into Starfield and... It's rather dry on the writing side, but the main gameplay loop is decently fun, just feels like more Fallout 4 just in a notably less interestingly setting.
Waiting on a ground vehicle mod, hell if Bethesda they just copied and pasted the horses from Skyrim I would've been happy. Running hundreds of meters from waypoint to waypoint when surveying a planet, constantly running out of breath, feels really silly.

Just buy Activision and fix the old CODs and price them properly. That's all I want from Microsoft.

I wonder if the Oblivion Remaster is really in the pipe and what that would mean for Skyblivion?

That Indy game better be more like Fate of Atlantis and less like Crystal Skull or Destiny crap, Mircosoft!

Came here for this comment. Would be horrible to see Skyblivion getting embrace, extend, and extinguish treatment.

It would get the "cease and desist" treatment if Microsoft tries to re-monetize Oblivion.

They still want $20 for the original 2003 COD 1, which won't even work correctly on most people's modern systems (unsupported display resolutions, directx and drivers etc.)

That's worthy of mockery.
