One day I may get over my fascination with anything remotely inspired by the popularity of Vampire Survivors but it is not today. Survive The Fog is another one, but this one makes it more like a third-person action game.

More about it: "Survive the Fog is a fast-paced action rogue-lite, with a lot of different builds for each class. The game is all about fighting massive hordes of enemies while experimenting with different combinations of powers and spells. Different characters provide you with various way to approach the battle."

Must admit, this looks like it could end up pretty intense! Check out the trailer:

Seems like it's going to have some nice variety in the runs too with different classes to play through, along with a bunch of events that happen as you progress through a run. These events include meteor showers, healing areas, gluttonous chests to chase down and more. Lots of upgrades during a run along with meta upgrades for permanent unlocks too, all the standard stuff you've come to love about bullet heaven survivor-likes.

When asked about Linux support on Steam, the developer confirmed they plan Linux support:

Currently only versions of Windows are supported. I have plans in the future to extend that to Linux, Mac and possibly consoles. But this wont be available on early access launch.

So until they you can either try your luck with Proton at the EA launch or wait and see.

You can follow it on Steam.

Well, it looks quite impressive, at any rate.

Sigh
Just when I somehow managed to stop playing Vampire Survivors and thought it was over, I find Time Wasters (yeah... don't do it, you want to keep your free time under control)... And now you show me a 3rd person Vampire Survivors. I just hope it launches in a while so I can have only one survivors-like game at a time.
