[I] doesn't exist is a brand new text adventure from LUAL Games KIG and DreadXP that pays homage to the classics, taking cues from the likes of The Beginner’s Guide, Stories Untold, Buddy Simulator and Zork.

Utilizing a mix of 2D and 3D perspective through optical illusion, [I] doesn’t exist leads you through a trippy, dreamlike experience crafted to reflect the title's surreal tale. The visuals are quite fun and add a nice little spice to the text adventure, and the language processor seems to work well enough to not make it too frustrating to actually get through but you do still need the right combination of words.

While the game does have Native Linux support, currently it seems the sound is broken. However, playing it with Proton 8.0-4 (the current stable Proton), it seems to work fine with that. So keep that in mind if you plan to pick it up that right now, it does need Proton until they fix the Linux version.

You can buy it on Steam or itch.io.

May I suggest changing the title into "Modern text adventure [I] doesn’t exist exists now"?

I tried the demo, seemed to work all well natively. The protagonist was walking way too fast though?!?
