Looking for your next game to pick up on Steam Deck? Valve continues to put hundreds of games through Deck Verified so here's some recent highlights of games that are now Verified. Being Deck Verified means they should just work out of the box, with good performance and everything works as expected.

Some games have been given their first rating, while others have been bumped up from Unsupported or Playable thanks to either Proton updates or game updates. Going over the list of what's been going through verification over the last few weeks here's my suggestions.

Fully Steam Deck Verified titles:

Fate/Samurai Remnant

"“Your wish shall perish...” A Holy Grail War begins in Edo Japan. A brand new Fate action RPG presented by TYPE-MOON and KOEI TECMO GAMES."

Ooblets

"Ooblets is a relaxing and offbeat farming, town life, and creature collection game. Manage your farm, grow and train your ooblets, explore strange lands, and have dance-offs!"

One Deck Dungeon (Native Linux)

"The hit roguelike adventure that captures all the fun of a dungeon crawl in a single deck of cards!"

Outer Wilds

"Named Game of the Year 2019 by Giant Bomb, Polygon, Eurogamer, and The Guardian, Outer Wilds is a critically-acclaimed and award-winning open world mystery about a solar system trapped in an endless time loop."

Trepang2

"Become the ultimate badass in Trepang2: A gory, action-packed FPS set in the near future. Unleash all hell on your enemies, dodge bullets and leave a trail of destruction in this hardcore and frenetic shooter."

Paleo Pines (Native Linux)

"Welcome to Paleo Pines, a charming island known for its friendly dinosaurs, quirky townsfolk, and mysterious past. Befriend dinos and enlist their help to fix up your ranch and farm crops to create your cozy dino sanctuary! Then set out with your companion, Lucky, to uncover the island’s secrets."

GYLT

"Shape your fears… Fear the shapes. Embark on a journey where you face your worst fears and are confronted with the emotional impact of your actions in this narrative adventure game with puzzles, stealth and action."

Factorio (Native Linux)

"Factorio is a game about building and creating automated factories to produce items of increasing complexity, within an infinite 2D world. Use your imagination to design your factory, combine simple elements into ingenious structures, and finally protect it from the creatures who don't really like you."

Moonstone Island (Native Linux)

"Moonstone Island is a creature-collecting life-sim set in an open world with 100 islands to explore. Make friends, brew potions, collect Spirits, and test your strength in card-based encounters to complete your Alchemy training!"

Greedland

"Greedland is a top-down shooter mixed with survivor-like elements. Slaughter the monsters, break out of the siege, and welcome the dawn of victory!"

One Deck Dungeon really delivers on that promise, btw.
It has been working just fine on the Deck for quite a while now (basically since they made a Switch version), but hadn't been verified yet.

Liam, it would be nice to have the native vs proton status right next to the title name like you do in other articles.

Yeah, I picked it up sometime around the middle of last year when I first got my Deck as a nice non-fast-paced game, and I haven't had a single problem with it since then. Good to see it's officially Verified now, at least!

Apparently, it was released on Steam back in July. I also completely missed it.
I played this game during my Stadia trial period, and I can say that it's definitely worth playing. It has a vibe similar to Little Nightmares, but it's more stealth-focused.

Samurai Remnant is verified? That's nice, Japanese devs are finally starting to care about Linux compatibility even if indirectly. F/SR looks much better than Extella, so I might play it later.
