Steam Deck status is very helpful thanks. In the future, if you also put a tux icon next to Linux native titles, it'll be even better :)

On the fence between Spider-man: Miles Morales and Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves... Can't decide. 40% off, both of them.

Not that I was going to buy anything -- but this is pretty ironic, considering that just yesterday Steam withdrew support for transactions in Turkish Lira, & switched to USD, which in turn led to pretty big price hikes (like 2x) across the board.

Managed to bring my wishlist down below 900 games for the first time in a while, the deals on this sale were better than I expected.

The list of provided games is very helpful, but a couple of buyer-bewares for anyone interested:
- "Grand Theft Auto V" and "Red Dead Redemption 2" both contain the Rockstar Games Launcher and require a Rockstar Games Social Club account.
- "Red Dead Redemption 2" was a brief (few weeks?) Epic Games Store exclusive when it launched.
- "Cyberpunk 2077" contains some form of GOG launcher, though I believe it can be skipped and is mainly used to advertise other CDPR games and Cyberpunk updates/DLC. No GOG account should be necessary to play the game.
- "7 Days to Die" contains Easy Anti-Cheat.

With the global economy in the toilet 2023, Steam Sale Memes have never been more relevant:

If we could somehow clone Lord Gaben and put him in every high place I'm convinced we would have both world peace and prosperity.

Sale Time!!!

Edit: Bonus Meme -- I remember a friend showing me this attack on titan meme years ago and for some reason thought of it -- https://yewtu.be/watch?v=RoGxA48HQ1g

Cannot... Did the last big hit before end of regional pricing in Turkey. Oh well, it was a good ride.

Usually the best prices are during the Holiday Sale next month. So I'm waiting for any bigger Steam purchases till then. lol

The Rockstar Games Social Club account is something that I've personally got zero problem with. Cause it's used with the multiplayer in-game even on consoles. You can also link multiple platform accounts to it, and use it across the board on different platforms. I've had mine since before Red Dead Redemption on the 360.

... considering that it has replaced 'Games for Windows Live', rendering GTA IV at last *playable*, I even have a tiny bit of sympathy towards it ...

This sale is finally a chance, to clean up my wishlist entirely.

Horizon Zero Dawn for 12.49€ is a great deal.

I did this one year, it felt fantastic to take a serious look at each game and clear out 100+ stuff.

Usually I'll throw games on the list I see on gaming news sites and then wait until they are out of early access or a while before I compare and do a deep dive.

My appreciation for GOG has grown a lot too as I am sick of buying a game 5 times over and that it MUST be online to play.

For archival reasons always online is no bueno.

Not quite the Steam Autumn Sale but I've just picked up Afterimage in a Humble Bundle sale for GBP6.29, which is a very enjoyable MV although I've only played a little over an hour so far. Works fine with Proton 8 and my F310 controller.

Im looking at several games...... Not sure which why I will go yet...... There will be the Winter Sale next month....... So whatever I dont get now I will get then.......
Pengling Nov 22, 2023
Only a few small titles for me this time, because I've got some Bomberman 40th Anniversary merch pre-orders that're due to ship later this month. Less than a fiver got me;

BomberZone (44p)
Capcom Arcade Stadium: Pirate Ship Higemaru (£1.06)
Chop Goblins (£3.19)

And, of course, this is thoroughly expected of me, but I just have to give a shout-out for my beloved Super Bomberman R 2, which is currently on sale over on Fanatical for £24.74.

I want more, and we're not likely to see a new game for a while - it's not like the old days when they were released more often (the two-year span between 1996 and 1998 saw about 17 games in 7 different genres, whereas over the last seven years we've only seen 4 games in 1 genre).

I had no idea you were into Bomberman.........

Hahahahahahaha!

Anyway, I might go back for the Commander Keen Complete Pack for £1.59, as well, but that'll most likely be it for me until the Winter Sale.

I bought some future Dick Trickle material.......

SRX: The Game (17.58 Dollarydoos)
MotoGP™20 (4.64 Dollarydoos)
Gravel (2.49 Dollarydoos)

That should keep Dick Trickle busy for quite a while....... Or until the next major sale at least......

Don't forget to wishlist Jazz Jackrabbit too.

From wishlist, only It takes two had over 50% discount (my rule to purchase something I had not intended to that month or a full price) so just got it. Perhaps next month there are a few more.

I also tend to clean my wishlist of items to keep it not bigger than 30 to reduce fomo, over spending and stress if I can't finish a game in good time (looking at you, Baldur's Gate 3)
