Valve recently put up a fresh Steam Deck Client Beta, along with a new SteamOS Preview release and together they fix some important issues that appeared.
The first was SteamOS 3.5.10 Preview 'More Tangible' which included a fix for "an issue introduced in a previous preview build where touchpad clicks to fail to register in some circumstances".
Next up is the latest Beta which includes:
General
- Fixed a case where the client could get stuck in Loading Library Data for users with large amount of non-steam games.
- Clarified the dialog message shown when trying to access store while using Steam Link from some devices.
Steam Input
- Fixed an issue that could cause gamepad input to stop in games after a controller disconnect or when the Deck is suspended
So far through December Valve has put up a bigger bunch of fixes in SteamOS 3.5.8 Preview on December 2nd and SteamOS 3.5.9 Preview on December 4th working towards the next stable point-release, to get things cleaned up before the next big refresh for SteamOS 3.6 next year.
What are your hopes for SteamOS 3.6?

I’m curious to know how widespread this issue is among other official Steam Deck Docking Station owners, but has anyone else’s docking station been rendered useless with the recent SteamOS/Dock Firmware updates? Mine worked fine until a certain update (not sure which one). It outputs a black screen to my TV. I can still hear sound when moving the controls around.
My Anker PowerExpand Hub works fine though
