Valve sure like their code-names recently for Steam Deck SteamOS updates, and now SteamOS 3.5.11 Preview 'Until Morale Improves' is now available. You need to change your update channel to get it via Settings > System > System Update Channel.

Here's what's changed:

General

  • Fixed consistency of application fade-ins/fade-outs
  • Fixed slightly blurry image when streaming from the Deck with Steam Remote Play
  • Fixed crashes when streaming to/from the Deck with Steam Remote Play
  • Fixed black screen when launching Forza Horizon 4 and other titles on Steam Deck OLED
  • Added a timeout to the boot selection screen

Firmware 120 (LCD) / 107 (OLED)

  • Fixed several USB compatibility issues
  • Developer note:
This changes the default USB mode back to XHCI (host-only) while issues with dual-role device mode are investigated

Changelog from here.

Are there any particular bugs you've discovered recently you want to see solved?

Updates will continue until morale improves?

For me, none. The big update not too long ago seems to have fixed most of the issues I was having with desktop-mode, which was the only thing that was giving me trouble. I really have no complaints right now.

Probably a nudge to Tim Sweeney's "Fortnite on Steam Deck" news.

I wish waking the steam deck with a non-steam game open from sleep wouldn't log me out on desktop when i have a game open on it. When I'm in queue for games I want to use my steam deck since I have GOG and emulated games on it but if I forget to go into offline more I just log my self out on my computer.

I run into this issue too.
Thankfully using the QR code function of the Steam app works fast enough most of the time but it is bothersome.
Sometimes I'm waiting for friends and I wanna play something in the mean time.
Be nice if we could designate a single Deck to our accounts to allow us to play multiple games at once with a block on playing the same game twice perhaps.
That or a way to turn on offline mode with a button combo I Guess but I'd rather use a Deck and PC at the same time.
Sticking with non-games should also be free of this issue by default one would think but I guess it's just set globally.

Update wise I thought the USB mode was an OLED only thing.
Maybe I heard wrong or thinking of something else.

I hope valve and mozille com around some day to fix firefox in gamescope. You currently can't use dropdown menus there. they seemed to be rendered as an own window.

Oddly enough after the recent update I found mthe menus and extra windows all working in firefox.
I was very surprised.
Maybe check it again?

Though I think we need a firefox fork in a steam deck/handheld pc controller friendly way.
Like the old Dreamcast browser just you know modern firefox everything and related extras.
