We finally have a confirmed date for Horizon Forbidden West Complete Edition which will release on March 21st for PC gamers. Thankfully it includes plenty of graphics options to tweak it to your liking, that might also help Steam Deck performance.
They've confirmed it will have NVIDIA DLSS 3, AMD FSR and Intel XeSS. It will also support "21:9 ultra-wide, 32:9 super ultra-wide and even 48:9 resolutions with compatibility for triple-monitor setups", along with fully customizable controls from keyboard and mouse to controllers.

It's truly fantastic that we have Proton to play games like this one Linux. And that Sony PlayStation titles now release on PC often like this too. Good time to be a gamer for sure.
That said, for Steam Deck players, the first game was really tough on the Steam Deck, I will be very interested to see if this can get anywhere close to at least 30FPS. Desktop Linux players of course have a lot more options.
Check out the Steam page for more.
Will you be picking it up?
Quotefully customizable controls from keyboard and mouse to controllers.
Hopefully all at the same time for gyro aimers.

I haven't gone back to finish the first one yet. But assuming I enjoy all of that, and when this one gets to an appropriate price point for the amount of support, yeah, probably.
Monotonous, did not find char skill/progression interesting.
Regarding Horizon, I am very curious to see how this game performs on the Steam Deck. With some minor hiccups, I think Sony has released games in generally a good state on PC and with an effort in getting them to support the Steam Deck as well, so I am optimistic.
Quoting: drjomsGot first one and did not like it.

Speaking for me, it made me buy my first console ever, a PS4 Pro, just to be able to play this gem. I absolutely love it and was pretty much blown away by the story behind it. Admittedly I'm a sucker for such settings. :)
If Sony wouldn't release this one for PC, which fortunately they do these days, I would have had to get me a PS5 just for this game. :)

I have the same problem but with Demon Souls. Every month I get tempted to pick up a PS5 but so far I'm staying strong and keeping up hope.
Quoting: KROMI had to buy both a (second-hand) console AND TV to play it. Then I gave them to a friend for his birthday :PQuoting: drjomsGot first one and did not like it.

I don't think my current machine can run this one well, but it's definitely on the list for my next upgrade.
