Hitting Early Access on February 19th, Craftomation 101 is a spiritual successor to Luden.io's previous game "while True: learn()" and it sounds like a really fun combination of ideas.

You've played various survival games, crafting games, automation sims and all that but have you played one where you're trying to bring a planet back to life? Apparently it's going to take over 9,000 years! Well, good job you can do some visual programming to get tiny robots to do your bidding huh? Sounds like a really fun idea for a programming automation sandbox game.

The developer kindly sent over a key, so I'll be checking it out. Just like their previous games it has Native Linux support.

They said the plan for Early Access is for at least one year of extra development to include various extras like debug tools, an educational mode, fishing, a trading factory, additional functions to the programming and so on. You can follow it on Steam.

What do you think? Something you might pick up? Let me know in the comments!

Downloading demo right now. These kind of games are perfect for me.
They seem like cheerful little robots.
Not sure if I'll pick it up, but I do find the idea intriguing.
