Yes, that's the official title now. Death Stranding 2: On The Beach and a generously long new trailer was released during Sony's January State of Play.
As a huge fan of the first game, with it being one of the most memorable gaming experiences I've had in recent years, I can't wait to play through On The Beach. Sadly, that's going to be a good while away. The PlayStation release isn't until 2025, and after that we will still have quite a while to wait before any possible PC release as they'll of course want to stretch out the PS5 game sales of it before moving on.
Trailer is below:

I'm certain it will come to PC at some point, and thanks to Proton we should hopefully have a good time with it on Linux. If not, I'm sure Valve will get some fixes in quickly for such a high-profile release like they've done with numerous previous releases.
For reference from the original Death Stranding console release to it arriving on PC it took about 8 months. Let's hope there's no Epic Store exclusive issues with it so we get an easy Steam release.
Are you as excited as I am for Death Stranding 2: On The Beach?
Quoting: pytrysGameplay seems to be the same boredom like the first game. I will pass.Yup.
I'll happily watch a story-only walkthrough, though, because in contrast to the "gameplay", the story was fairly interesting if a wee bit pretentious (but that's just Kojima default).

And yes, we'll have to wait. But we survived waiting for the PC port of the first game, which I enjoyed for more than a hundret hours.
Seems like there are two kinds of players mostly, either you can't stand this game, or you love it. I'm lucky to belong to the 2nd kind. I got immersed into this world like bearly into any other. I'm thrilled to see how this sequel continues telling the story.
See more from me
