Binogure Studio (City Game Studio) recently announced Fortune Avenue, their own take on a Monopoly-like experience that will enter Early Access this year. Made with Godot Engine it will have Native Linux support.
"At its core, Fortune Avenue echoes the essence of a Monopoly-like experience, but it's far more than just a mere replication. It's an expansive universe where players traverse lands, erect hotels from modest 1-star accommodations to opulent 5-star establishments. Here, the pursuit of a monopoly extends beyond properties – envision acquiring an entire continent, solidifying your grasp on its riches.
But it's not just about tangible assets; it's about wonder. Among the game's prized possessions are existing wonders waiting to be claimed by astute players, enriching their conquests with legendary marvels."
