Dinosaurs and Robots, what more could you want? Valve has put up the Steam Dinos vs. Robots Fest which runs until March 4th with plenty more demos and game discounts.
There's some pretty fantastic discounts going on like 75% off Horizon Zero Dawn Complete Edition, 60% off Detroit: Become Human, 85% off The Talos Principle (also available in the Mind-Bending Humble Bundle) and 75% off BATTLETECH. A great time to pick up Horizon Zero Dawn considering the sequel arrives on Steam in March and it's well worth playing through!
Valve also made a silly trailer again for the event:

There's not as much for me in this Fest as I'd hoped, even though on paper the robots side of it ought to be right up my alley! My best guess is that the overly-strict criteria for robot-based games, which didn't apply equally to dinosaur-based titles, must've discouraged some submissions, even though games that don't meet them were allowed in anyway (I ran into several anime-themed 2D platformers where I didn't even notice any mentions or screenshots of robots, for example).
That said, I'll probably pick up Orebody: Binder's Tale, which I heard of due to it being included on an upcoming Evercade cartridge (though I didn't want anything else on that one so I'd rather get it for my Steam Deck), and maybe GB Rober, since I do still love the aesthetic of robot-themed Game Boy games and this one nails that look pretty well.
As far as recommendations go, I must give a shout-out to Gravity Circuit, which plays a bit like a combination of some of the SNES and Game Boy Advance Mega Man titles whilst also being very much its own thing, but with melee combat instead of projectile weapons. It's both really fun and packed full of personality, and it does a great job at worldbuilding and character-interactions without those impeding the gameplay. I really hope to see more games in that world - they're outdoing the anti-PC-gaming Capcom in every way, and it's a native Linux title to boot!

Platform icons are broken again, like they were in the last sale. All the titles in the list just have Windows icons even if the game's available for other platforms.

Actually, yeah, seeing the same thing in the app. Mobile website just shows windows, mobile app shows only one of Windows or Linux; neither manage to fit the price in.
