Originally a Flash browser game from around 2008, Dangeresque: The Roomisode Triungulate is a remastered and expanded quirky classic-style point and click adventure. And now it has an official Linux port too done by Ethan Lee.

More about it: "Join Dangeresque, the world's greatest private eye/crooked cop, as he puzzles his way through 3 bite-sized roomisodes in this classic-style point and click adventure.

Each room is a separate, standalone mini-adventure with its own puzzles to solve, inventory items to collect, and other characters to interact with.

Roomisode 1: Learn to fake-solve a cold case to prevent The Chief from sending you to jail!
Roomisode 2: Team up with Renaldo to deal with car troubles at a seedy intersection!
Roomisode 3: Take a side-gig doing security consulting for Perducci!"

The developer even posted up a rather fun and silly special trailer for the Linux version on X, which you can watch below for those who find it easier to view:

Instant purchase!

Too bad the other Strong Bad games were removed from Steam, they are quite amusing.
Got nuked in May 2023:
QuoteUnfortunately, we can no longer support Strong Bad’s Cool Game for Attractive People. We no longer have the rights to the IP and so we can no longer sell or support the game series.

So, whether you’ve had a dance party with The Cheat or you poked fun at Homestar Runner, you can still download all your episodes from the PC digital storefronts where you bought the game.

Thank you so much for playing.

Oh goodness, I spent my teenage years watching Strong Bad, and it's beyond wonderful to see all of the references packed into the official Linux trailer, both from Homestar Runner and the Linux gaming community - top marks for the "Linux checkbox"!

I've had my eye on this game for a while, so how can I say no now?

Homestar Runner quotes have been living rent-free in my head since I first watched it. I was pretty late to the party, but I was hooked immediately nonetheless. Really nice to see that this game's available to those who were eaten by some linux or something.

Thing is, though, how am I going to purchase this with boxing gloves on?

Crapfully yours,

Same way as you draw and sell crappy Xeroxes of a comic at Bubs', of course!

Did the quadratic formula explode? I see a "Strong Ba..." in there, but it's getting eaten by some... Linux or something.

Awesome! It was a Day 1 purchase for me, but now I'm even more glad that I bought it on release.

I never really got into the original Flash animations and whatnot, but this looks just about brainless enough. We all need some silliness in our lives to counterbalance all the serious stuff.

Also I just can't resist a Linux-native classic comedy point-and-click adventure.

You can make up for lost time now - they've got an official YouTube channel for them.

The highlight on the website back in the day was (I think most would agree) Strong Bad Email, which made Strong Bad a breakout hit - those are still incredibly funny today. Some of my favourites are "Trevor the Vampire", "Comic", "Japanese Cartoon" and "Kids' Book".

Some people are squirrel-handed. Gregor is a weird name.
