A rare update for Red Dead Redemption 2 has landed, and for those who want a little more performance, you might like this one especially if you're on Steam Deck.
Update version 1.32 from March 19th bumps the AMD FSR from 2.0 to 2.2 so not only will you get better performance with FSR, but now thanks to jumping two versions you should also see better visual quality at the same time. Nice to see a game originally released in 2019 for PC (2018 for console) continue to see such improvements and bug fixes multiple years later.
The game is currently rated Steam Deck Playable by Valve and Gold on ProtonDB.

- Added support for HDR10+ GAMING, this will automatically set game graphics in HDR for HDR10+ GAMING displays on compatible graphics cards and monitors connected via HDMI.
- Updated AMD Fidelity Super Resolution (FSR) libraries to version 2.2.
- Fixed an issue that resulted in 3200x2400 resolution being unavailable.

Good luck getting Rockstar to provide any next-gen console patch for any of the their games. They would rather resell you the full game again with updated graphics over patching it and if the GTA Trilogy was any indication, they don't seem to want to put any effort of making something that could be good into something better.
