Enlisted: Reinforced is a World War II squad-based shooter from War Thunder publisher Gaijin, and it was recently revealed to be finally coming to Steam.
Quite different to other shooters out there as you're not just commanding a single character, but instead the whole squad. When your current character dies, you'll swap over to another in your squad. You won't just be playing as infantry on the ground though but there's also around 350 vehicles including tanks, armoured cards, aircraft (both fighters and bombers) and more.

From the press release: "Enlisted: Reinforced will include all maps, soldier squads, weapons, ground vehicles, aircraft, and gameplay features that have been added to Enlisted as the game expanded and evolved. Players will experience WW2 as soldiers of all major powers (USA, UK, Australia, USSR, Germany, Italy and Japan), will see key battles and theaters of war (Pacific, Normandy, Berlin, Stalingrad, Moscow, Ardennes and Tunisia), and will use hundreds of realistically recreated weapons and vehicles, which are grouped into four convenient tech trees. Improved matchmaking system chooses opponents with an arsenal of approximately the same level."
Not only is it coming to Steam, but they recently updated the system requirements to note Linux support too. I've reached out Gaijin to confirm on that. So will update on any reply received. Update 15:52 UTC: Gaijin replied to confirm the "developers are working on Linux support" but couldn't say anything else for now.
You can follow Enlisted: Reinforced on Steam.
Quoting: EikeHe, that's funny... I clicked on the link to Steam, and Steam though I'd be in my recommendation list and showed a link to the next entry. :DThat's happened to me a few times, too - it's always amusing.
