Upcoming space RTS 'Falling Frontier' looks epic

By -

I'm a real sucker for anything involving spaceships and Falling Frontier from Stutter Fox Studios and Hooded Horse releasing in 2025 looks like it could be epic. Always on the hunt for a good new RTS to sink some time into as well, so this shot right to the top of my wishlist.

More about it: "Falling Frontier is a revolutionary sci-fi RTS where ship design, recon, and logistics are critical elements. Your expeditionary force has just completed construction of its first space port in orbit of a new world, but you are not alone. Rivals from the old colonial wars between Earth, Titan, Venus, and the other lineages that divide humankind have also arrived in the same star system."

Check out the brand new lengthy video below that has a new trailer, along with various gameplay slices:

I would be surprised if Proton wasn't able to run it, so I look forward to playing it on Linux! If you're a big space nerd like me will you be picking this one up too? We don't get many games like this now making it all the more exciting. The ship combat actually looks a little bit like the rather good Battlestar Galactica Deadlock don't you think? Gimme.

You can follow it on Steam.

Yup, by far and away the title I'm most looking forward to in the near future.
That does look quite interesting. Cool looking gates. Not so sure about the combat.

Will be hard to choose between this and the upcoming Homeworld 3.

I'm keeping eye on this one for a long time. Graphics are ok, thus single developer working on it. Also i hope game mechanics are will be suprisingly well blended, and transgaming could handle this masterpiece so Hopefully i will be able to play it. But im doubt if i really love it or find time to play it cause of other games. (albion online + diablo 4)

It looks amazing.

And it looked the same way amazing years ago, when it was supposed to be released...

This is so old, that I removed it from my wishlist some time last year as I consider it being a waporware...
