So maybe it's time to fill up that wishlist? Are you waiting on a particular game? I've got a few in mind I still want to pick up. Okay, more than a few. I have over 300 games in my Steam wishlist at this point…

Quoting: whizseQuoting: scaineBut "Coming Soon" are a bit of a pain when "Soon" turns into literal years."Coming soon". Been waiting 14 years now.
I think some dev teams manage to create really great prototypes/teasers, but when it comes to the drudgery of actually making it into a full-fledged game they get burned out quickly. Not an easily avoidable trap without a "boss" pushing it along, and too many Kickstarters ended up with that fate.

Due to my backlog, my wish list is less than ten right now. I figure I might be able to fake some hype and FOMO to actually play games I already own but have never even tried yet. I'm trying to do what I already do with books, which is wait to buy until I'm going to play it the same day. I have a long book wish list, but I do not watch for sales and do not buy in advance.
