Cosmic Void are currently developing Devil's Hideout, a horror point and click adventure where you have to deal with a bunch of cultists that faked your sister's death.
The developers previously made the point and click adventures Twilight Oracle, Blood Nova, The Corruption Within and Void Breach with the latest two having Native Linux support (which is planned for this one too).

I know that some are released - it would be impossible not to - but the ones that stand out always have this comedy/parody feel to them.
Haven't had time to try this one yet, but brownie points to the devs for making a demo. Actually a double serving as they seem to have demos for most (all?) of their games!
Actually two of the best point and clickers I've played recently have been of the horror variety, The Excavation of Hobbs Barrow and Nightmare Frames.

Hob's Barrow was good but it gave away too much in the trailer so a lot of they mystery was gone by the time i got to playing it.
Nightmare Frames looks exactly like what i've been craving. Thank you for that.
Will buy it and give it a go.
